Actually, although my vision is admittedly too poor to play it, I'm under the impression that the 2010 Steam/PlayStation Network/Xbox Live version is better to play nowadays, due to adding achievements, leaderboards, support for higher resolutions, and fixing the lack of mipmapping from the prior 2004 port.
